The Public Association SMART GRIDS OF UKRAINE (SGU)

is newly incorporated NGO, founded March 2020. Now it unites 14 distribution system operators (DSOs) in Ukraine. The main goal of SGU is to unite positions of DSO’s in various regulatory matters.We collect and consolidate DSO’s positions, create legislation (regulatory) changes and then pushing them forward in regulatory bodies in question.

Alina Bondarenko
CEO of DTEK GRIDS

She has been working at DTEK Group since 2014. Last time, she has held the position of Operations Director at DTEK Grids and was responsible for the implementation of investment programs for distribution system operators. Her main priorities are ensuring the fast restoration of damaged networks and the development of Smart Grids projects.

Alina Bondarenko obtained her higher education from the National Agrarian University, graduated in “Electrification and Automation of Agriculture”. In 2018, she graduated in MBA program “Energy of Knowledge” and in 2019, from the “Energy of Leader” program. She has many years of experience in managing the company’s development and services. Before joining DTEK Grids, she held management positions in the DTEK Distribution business unit and Kyivenergo (now DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids), and most recently worked at DTEK Energy as the head of the electricity generation services department.

Andriy Grabchuk
HEAD OF STRATEGIC PLANNING DEPARTMENT OF PRIKARPATTYAOBLENERGO

A native of Ivano-Frankivsk, he graduated with a degree in Power Supply and Power Saving.

He later continued his studies in management at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas and later at MIM-Kyiv.

He went from an electrician to the director of the strategic planning and audit department of Prykarpattiaoblenerho JSC, where he has been working since 1997.

“The main potential of a public association is related to the word COOPERATION. I see the task of the public union in uniting the efforts of electricity market participants to improve the industry based on long-term goals and a win-win philosophy. In the context of a pandemic, reduced electricity consumption, a tangled tangle of energy problems, a public association can promote the exchange of positive experiences and practical recommendations for successfully overcoming the crisis. “

Oleksiy Sheketa
GENERAL DIRECTOR OF ZHYTOMYROBLENERGO

He was born on February 17, 1976 in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Obtain higher education. In 1998, he graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk State Technical University of Oil and Gas. Qualification – electrical engineer. In 2005, he graduated from the Vinnytsia National Technical University, majoring in accounting and auditing. Since August 1998, he has been the dispatcher of the Kalush REM DAEK “Prykarpattiaoblenergo”. Since December 1998, he has been a mode engineer of the operational dispatch service of Prykarpattiaoblenergo JSC. Since May 2000, he has been the deputy head of Lysets REM of JSC “Prykarpattiaoblenergo”. Since February 2001, he has been the head of the sales department of Prykarpattiaoblenergo. Since October 2001 – deputy of director of energy distribution, and since December – director of energy distribution of JSC “Prykarpattiaoblenergo”. Since December 2003, he has been the executive director of electricity sales and commercial calculations at Vinnytsiaoblenergo JSC. Since November 2004, he has been the commercial director of Kirovogradoblenergo.

From March 2012 to June 2015, he was appointed chairman of the board of PJSC “Chernivtsioblenergo” and from June 2015 to the present he heads JSC “Zhytomyroblenergo”.
